Easter is the time when we are all ready to put away the snow shovels, and get out the capri pants and short sleeve shirts. It's a time to welcome back the Tulips, the Crocuses and the Daffodils. Even as an adult I get excited to see the small green leaves starting to bust through the soil. It's a time of new suits, new dresses and patent leather shoes. A time for Christians to celebrate the life and resurrection of Christ. And a time of chocolate bunnies, chocolate bunnies marshmallow chicks, and colored eggs!
Kids and teachers look forward to spring break and vacations. Gardener's polish up their spade and hoe. It's a time for rebirth in nature. I love to give little homemade gifts at Easter time.
