Supplies needed: 1 quart size jar with lid



paper for printed recipe

colored paper or cardstock


2 C. Sugar

1 C. Cocoa (not Dutch process)

1 C. All-purpose flour

1 C. Chopped pecans(Optional)

1 C. Chocolate chips

I like to layer my ingredients in the jar to make it look like sand art, but you could mix all the ingredients together and store in an airtight container.

Fill the jar with mix and put on lid. Cut a piece of fabric to cover the lid. Use a piece of ribbon to tie around the lid to hold on fabric. Punch a hole on the recipe directions and tie them onto the jar. Finish by tying the ribbon in a bow.

Double-Fudge Brownies Makes 24

1 C. Butter or margarine, softened

4 eggs

1 jar of Double-Fudge Brownie Mix

Preheat the oven to 325ºF. Grease a 12 x 9-inch pan.

In the large bowl of an electric mixer, cream the butter. Add the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add the Fudge Brownie Mix and continue to beat the mixture until it is smooth. Spread the mixture into the greased pan, and bake for 40 to 50 minutes.
