Lasagna is one of those comfort foods that just about everyone loves. This easy lasagna dish is great. It's a super easy recipe to make without needing a lot of ingredients.

Easy Lasagna Ingredients

16 lasagna noodles

2 pounds of ground beef

1 jar (28 ounces) spaghetti sauce

1 tablespoon Italian seasoning

2 cloves of garlic

1 pound of processed cheese cubed

Easy Cheesy Lasagna Instructions:

Cook noodles according to package directions. While that is getting started, in a large frying pan, cook beef over medium heat until no longer pink and drain off grease.

Add spaghetti sauce to the browned meat. Add Italian seasoning and garlic. (I add extra garlic because my family likes it. Leave out the garlic all together if you like. It all depends on your taste)

While your meat sauce is simmering, rinse the lasagna noodles.

TIP I never cook my lasagna noodles until they are soft because they cook more once the lasagna is in the oven. I leave them a little under cooked. This way they won't get mushy.

TIP I add extra veggies to my sauce like shredded carrots or cooked squash. My family gets the extra veggies and they don't even know it.

In a greased 13-in. X 9-in. baking dish, layer a lasagna noodles on the bottom of the baking dish. On top of the noodles layer a third of the meat sauce and cheese cubes. Repeat the layers. Top with remaining meat sauce. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes or until bubbly. Serves 6 - 8 people.

TIP I like to make this dish up ahead of time without the baking step. I can put it all together in he morning and then pop it in the oven just before I need to go somewhere or give it to someone as a gift for a meal.
