Monster cookies in a jar supplies:

Quart Size Canning Jars with Lids

Scrap Fabric

Ribbon

Scissors

Cardstock

Glue

Paper

Recipe and Required Ingredients (below)
In the quart size jar, layer the following ingredients:

2 cups flour

1/2 cup chocolate chips

1/2 tsp. baking soda

1/2 cup of M n M's

1/4 tsp. salt

1/2 cup of white chocolate chips

3/4 cup packed brown sugar

1/4 cup of butterscotch chips

1/4 cup white sugar

I use a large spoon to put ingredients into the jar. Pat each layer down tight before you add the next.

Cut a piece of fabric in a square or circle large enough to fit over the Mason jar lid. Cut and tie the ribbon around the fabric on the lid to secure the fabric.
Tag Instructions Print out tag instructions below and mount onto a slightly larger piece of cardstock or colored paper. Punch a hole somewhere near the edge of the instructions and put the ribbon through the hole. Tie ribbon in a bow.

How to make your Monster Cookies:

3/4 cup butter or butter flavored Crisco, softened

2 tablespoons of milk

1 egg

1 tsp. vanilla

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Empty contents of jar into large bowl; thoroughly blend mix. Using your hands, mix in the butter or Crisco until well blended. Beat together the egg, milk and vanilla and then add it to the batter. Shape dough into 1-inch balls and place 2 inches apart on baking sheet. Bake for 10 to 14 minutes, until edges are lightly browned.
